1- Proof of legal age: To be able to marry in California you need to be at least 18 years old, and you need to prove it with a valid photo ID with full name and date of birth.

2- Payment: Depending on the type of license (confidential or public), you can estimate a payment between $45 and $112 dollars in the State of California. This payment can be set in the moment when you book an appointment or personally on the appointment date. (Payments with card could have an additional transaction cost).

3- Proof of divorce: It might sound obvious, but we will state it here, nonetheless. You cannot be married when applying to the marriage license.
